Walbro setup?

Hi, I have a walbro 392,now I need a regulator or relief valve. Any body have a idea on a cheap one. I would buy a Glacier kit but I don't have the cash for it. My 2nd VP44 died and I just finished paying off the first one. I figure I better start from square one and see what is going wrong. I have had good pressure,12 at idle 7 wot. I'm droping the tank today to clean the screen or remove it. I plan on staying with the stock lines and open up the banjo bolts. Any good advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

I got rid of the banjo bolts and used the 90 AN fittings. Found them on EBAY from this guy, but you may be able to find them locally, I couldn't.

For the bypass(aka checkvalve) I got it from Hilborn racing. They were very helpful. Cost was about $50-$60. Check my pics.

Sorry to hear about your bad run of luck with the VP!! You're on the right track to save your next IP. Call Richard at Glacier Diesel and price a regulator. Get the regulator on now and run the stock lines and that will help a lot. Make sure you get an in-line filter ahead of the pump so you wont suck junk in the suction side of the pump and plug the fine screen. Then get the big line kit asap to get rid of the banjo bolts. He handles the Walbro set-up and will do what ever he can to help a guy out. Great guy!!

Thanks guys for the help, I have been busy dropping the tank and getting the VP44 out. The screen on the pickup was as clean as a whistle, no problems there. Lot of fun rolling around in the mud, its been raining in my garage and the tree is to small yet to help. Not much shade in the summer either. The plan was to pour the floor for my garage this spring but the VP took care of that......... I have another question about the edge comp, if I don't tap the wire on the VP what do I loose? There is no way I can loose another ip even if I have to loose a little power. I never run in 5x5 anyway, I don't have the tranny for it.
Again thank you!
