Vulcan LP Relocation Kit

Vulcan LP Relocation Kit
OK, here I am again with the LP going out (it lasted 3 years) and am wondering after 3 years, is the Vulcan LP Relocation Kit my best option. And, so I know, what PSI should I NOT run the truck at. Right now if I don't gun it she hangs at 4psi. Thanks all again for your help.

Most people do not like to see below 8 psi . 5 or less is for certainty, bad.
The Vulcan, I think, is a good option, especially that it moves the pump down by the tank, where it should be. I have been told by some that the stock lines are OK up til some very high HP number, but most people on here think the stock lines are minimal, especially with the banjo bolts along the way.
There is a FASS replacement OEM that looks like a good option. I think the AirTex may also be viable. I think maybe Vulcan sells both.
With the pump down by the tank, it is very easy to change, maybe even on the road, if you carry a spare.
I am Carter LP#3, 53k. 1 Carter spare and 1 Airtex spare. No waiting.
Good luck!

3 yrs is darn good! You should be able to get one @ cummins. You may need to purchase the short junction wires as they changed the connector style on the lp a couple yrs ago if I am remembering correctly.
With the vulcan kit and a oem style pump I can pull fuel psi down to 6 @ full throttle.

I think you can get the FASS or Airtex from Vulcan. Autozone sells LP, but they may be Carter, or the may be Airtex. The Carters may last a day or 5 years. I think their average life is 1-2 years.
The FASS or Airtex should last longer.

I had enough of LP after replacing 5 carters, 2 on the engine & 3 with the vulcan relocation I opted to get a FASS HPFP(non-filtered) and it works great 16psi @ idle.
