Dieselcamper,
We have sold hundreds over the last year or so and have gotten excellent service and performance from them. The V series is basically going to get you the same max HP as an Edge EZ but customers consistently tell us it gets better low RPM out of the hole torque. Call us if you have any questions etc.

Thanks for the input Mark. Do you have any info on the
amount of timing advance on the V5. Also with Van Aaken
being around so long why is their V5 less than an Edge EZ or
DDTTPM.

getblown5.9,
They are a little conservative on their numbers, the TQ numbers are a little higher than their claims etc. That's why everybody feels their low end is so strong etc.

Dieselcamper,
No info on the timing degrees sorry, the reason they are less is anyones guess. I would assume it's because they have been around longer and have amortized (sp) their costs for longer so their cost is lower etc. But don't presume I have the answer on that issue.

Mark,
I am looking for 350-375 hp, and 700-800 tq, im thinking some stage 2 injectors and the van aaken will put me in that range with managable EGT's as I am pushing 34psi now, but i can feel that its not making any power up top with that boost and no fuel.
Also, does the VA box tap the pump wire?

the van aakens box does not tap the pump wire . you should be some were in the lower part of the 350 to 375 range with that set up . i know with a ez and dd2s and a pdr 35 with a 14 housing you get around 353hp . so i would guess with the van aaken box and a set of dd2s we would get around the same im going threw this to right now . bot im looking to get around the 400 mark
