upgrades and I'm disappointed
They say in this link that the super b has a adjustable wastegate controled by a turnbuckle. http://www.dieselperformance.com/ind...oduct/index/3P
I presume this is the little Super B, the 57/65mm? Or did you get the Special, 64/71? Does your truck smoke at WOT? If not, you most likely don't have the fuel to push it past 30 psi. With only a Comp box and 275 injectors, you really didn't need to upgrade your turbo. But you shouldn't be having issues lighting the little Super B. Is it new or used? You might have the wastegate stuck partially open.

I guess I'll add some injectors before i pull this turbo off. I bought the turbo new and its the smaller version. I use this truck for towing only, not a racer.
I am looking at a set of Mach 1.6 injectors. Would these be enough? I tow out in the west at high elavations. I checked on a set of injectors (mach 1.6)and was told 910.00 plus core charge (200). The price on the website was 750.00 plus core. I asked why they cost more and was told F1 has a brand new design that are more efficient and use less fuel and the cost went up 150.00. This price is high but i like all the good reviews these injectors have.
Thanks for your help.

Did you look to see what was causing the poor performance of the turbo, such as a partially open wastegate? Your PS62 will have a 65mm turbine wheel, like the Super B, and it probably has the same exhaust housing on it. Only difference would be the compressor wheel.
I got the 12 cm housing on the 62. The super B has a 14 cm housing. That's made a difference in the thinner air. The super would light up if i put my comp on 4 or 5 but i can't use those settings because of the egt's on a hard pull. The 12 cm housing really made a difference. I don't think there's anything wrong with the Super B turbo. It just didn't work in my appilcation.
Thanks!
Thanks!
