Click on the Excel spreedsheet on the right. Part number 167735 has the slip-on (boot) compressor outlet, 4". Part number 167736 has the v-band clamp compressor outlet, 4". Other than that, they are both the same turbo.

Man, where were you a month ago?

I called them, and for the same S400 I bought part#171702 S475 from Borg Warner has a 75mm compressor wheel at the inducer 1.32 a/r.
He qouted me a price of $475. $100 cheaper. Oh well.

Thats a great find. There is also the 171701 which is the same thing but with a 71 mm inducer compressor

Not bad for $325.

Also spotted the p/n 168824 s300 for the same price. It has a huge housing, but that can be fixed. Compressor is a 62 and the turbine is a 71

Buy both and a housing from HTT and you could be ready for twins.

I was wondering if the 62 compressor on the s300 is the same as those on htt, and industrials s300. I always read about extended tip technology on their sites. any difference in these compressors?

There's no way for me to know for sure. The extended tip technology makes the compressor act like its 5-7% bigger, so its not a huge difference.

Just called HTT, $575 for the cast 14 cm housing. No wastegate actuator etc, just the housing. Yuck! I think I can build twins for $1000.

Would a prostreet 66/14 be to big for a top turbo in a set of twins with one of the s400s underneath?

They put 62's with the b-2 s400's and 64's with the s480, so its a little big.

That's alot for just a non wastegated housing. Watch Ebay or the boards and one will come up for you soon.

What about a 66/13ss with an S480? Anyone have experiance with this setup? I'd like to use my existing Prostreet in a setup and since lag is not really a concern, I was hoping I could still use it.

I have seen a 35/400 work well up to 600 hp on the street and at the track. Really performs better than I would have thought!
You do need to open up the flange, allowing all 6 cyl. to waste.... and you would need a 14 cm turbine on the HX-35.
I've seen this combo turn down the power to about 450 hp and tow heavy, with no EGT problems at all!
