Twins install

I want to say thanks to all that helped out with advice on this install and let any one that asked about pictures know the others I took are in my gallery.
Total time was 15.5 hours and I would say the auto trans added 4 hours to the job.
Over all the kit was great however the instructions were so- so( Piers said they were in the midst of doing new ones though
) The only set back was not having a welder at home for the bottom turbo bracket but I was able to tack a brass weld together and take the bracket to a welder. Going to take it for a ride tomorrow and see what the temps are like. (hope it stops raining)

If it is a 53 block i wouldnt worry. Jim Flulmer runs a 53 block and hasn't split it open yet. Even at 800hp +. Nice looking job ratsun. Well done. Let us know how she runs.

Very clean and pretty! It looks like the install went well for ya! Watchout if the road is wet... once the twins light, the backend of the truck will want to see what the front end is doing.

That's nice man!I'm still gathering parts for mine, hope to get it in before summer. Did you put a extra trans cooler on when you took off the heat exchanger? It looks like the top turbo hooks straight to the manifold, I'm guessing they use a internal wastegate on it. Does it come with the pressures already set or is this something you have to set yourself. Sure hope the sun is shining for you when you wake up this morning. Hate to see someone with a new toy and no where to use it.

Thanks for all your help and you were right about being able to take pics during this job since I was working alone remembering to take pics was hard

No extra cooler yet, gonna see how the temps are. My biggest consern is with no heat exchanger the temps will be to low for my application but we will see. The top turbo mounts to a ATS manifold that is mounted upside down, theres also a 1" spacer between the man and turbo. For the wastegate I put the stock boost elbow back in (18psi). The line to the cooler has two adjustable blow-offs in it to regulate max boost(for me 45-50 as no studs yet) Good luck with your install Gotta go the rain stopped

Yours came with instructions?!
Mine was a jigsaw puzzle with nothing to go by when I did mine. And doing it at 2am I couldn't call anybody either.

The turbos are my totaly stock HX35 (I will have Piers do a tune-up to it in the spring) and the lower is a HT3B. Boost is controled by 2 adjustable blowoffs in the cold pipe to the IC. You just dial up your max boost and thats it. To be fair I havent driven it enough to see whats what yet.
