trouble

Hey guys,

just built up a 01 stick truck
put in the following
Mach 4's
clutch
silver bullet 66
edge drag comp
full gages
hot rod vp 44

Trouble is out of no were it stalled out, cracked the injector lines and bled some air out and started back up
this happened the day after i did the final install. Now about three weeks went by and this just happened again, (fuel tank is full btw)

What I've read, but big sticks with a WOT run and then you suddenly let off the skinny peddle will kind of vapor lock the VP. The VP is calling for lots of fuel at WOT and then you let off, VP stops fueling but the injectors and flow didn't know that so they pulled all the fuel from the lines VP still isn't asking for more fuel, and leaves you on the side of the road. Easy off a WOT run and your fine.

Again just reiterating what I've read.

Good luck.

Common problem with the VP trucks - kinda like vapor lock as posted above... either avoid sudden WOT-zero throttle when you shut down on the big end of the track, or blip the pedal to keep the engine from stumbling & dying when you get out of it.
