Trans Shudder

Just started out of the blue, yesterday stacked the smarty to see what it would be like with the new turbo and now OD shudders and slips under hard throttle. Is there any way to adjust line pressure on these trucks???? I got about 6000 miles on this trans with Alto Red Eagle Clutches in it. ANY help would be great. Do you think a new VB from Dave would be a good investment now? Im running a modded valve body with all Sonnex updates.

I would probably be checking to see what the existing line psi is. I'm not familiar with "Sonnex updates", but for all the toys you seem to be throwing at your engine, I would make dang sure that the valve body and converter will work together. Single disc or triple?

Call dave up he will steer you in the right direction. I have a stock rebild with sonnix upgrades and the shift kit I found all the info on this site for the valve body and I have DG. tripple disc have not had any problems out of it in 15,000 miles with a good amount of towing and I am beta testing the Quad XZT + box stacked with my banks. Heck Dave drove my truck and told me not to waste my money on the valve body said it worked properlly on the test run. And I think Dave is a stand up business man most would have taken my money.

What kind of mods did you do? I can tell you this my trans is a 47 rh and I had similer issues and I eliminated the things that I could like the Tps and then I decided to just go for it and I bought a Vb from Dave and it eliminated a lot of the drivability issues that I had with the stock Vb. In all honesty if you can afford it go with a Vb and a tripple disk from Dave you will Love it I did mine last Thursday and I keep using excusses to go for a ride LOL!!
