track bar/ leveling question

Ok so I leveled my truck and put new shocks up front. I have heard of people using the 3rd gen track bars with a special bracket. Do you need a adj. track bar with just a leveling kit or does a stock 3rd gen work good? I might to a lukes link for now because a do have a little death wobble.(Not fun!) I am going to get a alignment to but I thought I would try to get some more info about the 3rd gen setup.

I know Thuren and a few other aftermarket adj. bars are out there but I'm wanting to keep cost down. Thanks for any info

WheN I did my leveling kit I had to put an offset trackbar bushing in to recenter the frontend.

Do you have the adjustable cams on the front lower links?Try adjusting them forward so it pulls the lower part of the axle back thus inceasing the camber. I would worry about the shift in the axle. Its minimal. I'd only do the 3rd conversion if your TB is worn out. The stock one will work fine for the conversion.

Trust me there are alot cooler things to spend money on but I bit the bullet and got a thuren, its a good bit beefer than the stock "Death wobble stick". No complants here and Ive never seen a post about my thuren is worn out.

Which Thuren part did you get? Solid steel makes a kit so you can use the 3rd gen track bar. Thuren track bar still uses a ball joint. The Lukes link will help to stiffen up the ball joint some. I have the solid steel bar and so far been pretty happy with it. The adjustable track bar is a bit of a pain as you have to get the front axle centered on the frame. Other than that its way better than stock.

Get them HERE
I have them in my 3rd Gen Trackbar, to center the truck on the frame. Work great.
He also sells a 3rd Gen track Bar bracket that is stronger than Solid Steel's, IMO. I bgt my Solid Steel before these were available. It works OK but flexs quite a bit.
