Trac bar and steering stab

I just bought a aftermarket trac bar and a steering stabilizer kit for my 2001 diesel 4x4. I was wondering if any body has this kit on their truck and if it made any difference in the steering. I would also like to know if it is a hard job to install the kit. I was looking at the parts that come with the kit, Like the stabilizer bar and the trac bar bracket, I work in a machine shop and I know i could fabricate these parts myself, for alot less money. Has any one every done this. I am going to try it to see if it works. Let me know

The Stabilizer bar and bracket are made by steelbuilt. Their web site is www.steelbuilt.ca. The tracbar is a factory part.

Solidsteel perhaps?

www.solidsteel.ca or www.solidsteel.biz?
(.biz is the right one, I think .ca is actually out of business)

Very easy to install, and as long as the rest of your front suspension is in good shape (ball joints, steering box and tie rod ends). it'll make a huge difference in the steering.

No major problems installing... fairly straight forward. I added both at 30,000 (DSS) and 40,000 miles (Track Bar Kit), as preventative maintenance. I expected little noticable difference. I was very surprised at how big a difference they made, even at fairly low mileage. Both are excellent additions.
