Timing boxes with the Smarty?
Timing boxes with the Smarty?
I know the Smarty is set up to stack a timing box by using the alternative software settings without added timing. My question is - what advantage, if any, does stacking a timing box on the Smarty have over just using the Smarty software with added timing?
I have an old Edge Pulse that I used in EZ+ mode (Pulse has extra timing and boost settings) - pump has not been pinned. Thinking of replacing it completely with the Smarty, wondering if there's some advantage to stacking the Pulse with the Smarty.

I've seen a dyno graph of a smarty/ez stack and it was worth something like 3 hp more than the ez by itself. Some people like the stack, but the smarty will do fine by itself.
