Time to put it to pasture?

While cleaning up and lubricating the components from my head, I found the rockers had some galling taking place on the bearing surfaces. even with preassembly lube, I can feel roughness. Some I can't even remove the shaft.

To me this is abnormal wear for 180,000 miles and is indicating a much more severe internal oiling problem. Has anybody else seen this in their rebuild? Is my hunch correct and it is time to sell the mods, put it to stock and send it off to pasture?

This engine has only had Rotella T, and has had the oil changed every 3500 to 5000 miles.

Ive only read about it. It was over on the competition diesel forum.
I just had my head and had the rockers out. They were perfect and I have 170,000 on it.

Another Question, Are the rockers interchangable with different cylinders?
Cylinders #1 and #6 were perfect. #2 and #5 showed signs of galling and are rough turning, Cylinders #3 and #4, I couldn't even get the shafts out and are very stiff.

Can get the parts from Cummins but they are pricey. I can combine enough parts to get two and a half good cylinders.

40psi idle and hot.
60psi above idle hot
90 psi cold.
Rest of the engine looks great. Pistons show no sign of lack of cooling and cylinder walls still have hone marks. Almost no crown on the top of the cylinder either.
I pulled a couple of valves on the heat and have no apparent problems there either.
I am begining to think that my gasket had been letting go before the final hicup. There was enough water in the oil to turn the inside of the valve cover milky over these cylinders. The oil that I drained out seems awful thick for it being 20F outside. 15w-40w 2300 miles. I also know that the coolant was clean 2300 miles ago as that is when I installed the twins and flushed the coolant system.
The fresh oil in the drum flows much better.
