Thinking out loud for those with 53 blocks..

I was thinking about the problems with the 53 blocks. The 12v 53 blocks don't seem to have the failure rates of the 24v blocks. I've heard that this is because the harmonics of the 12v differ from the 24v.

So the question of the day is... Does anyone think a Fluid Dampner would ease some of the harmful harmonics enough to help those with 53 blocks?

Just thinking out loud here...

Interesting question... I wonder what technical data fluid dampner could provide on the subject?

Might be worth a call. If I have time I'll give them a shout. I don't have a 53 block, but I'm still interested non the less.

Is there any actual failure rates documented between the 12v and the 24v? I'd guess that the reason why there are more cracked 24vs are because they had those blocks for around 3 years, while the 12vs only had it for half a year. Thats 6 times the amount of 24vs than 12vs, assuming that all the sales were the same for each year.
