Texas Ranch Edition Ram
I don't thinks those are trucks. They're more like "Look at me, I have money" trucks. Not so much used for but as status symbols. Looks like something a big time builder would drive up to a work site and then stand by the truck and just have a "presence". LOL

The dealer here in town has two of them, both are 3500 dually. One is 4 wheel drive and the other is two wheel drive. They are identical except for that, I looked at the 4 wheel drive the other day just to see what it was. The interior was awesome, and it's a sharp truck to boot with the two tone on it, the inside kind of stunk though because of the saddle leather. I asked......JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY..... and he said they were asking 48,000
I told him he likes it a lot more than me at that price. He said you know the kicker is we send these things to Georgia to get a Texas package put on em.

Ford has been selling a "Northland Edition" up here for many years.
I think they would make a South Dakota "Flat and Boring Edition" if they thought it would sell more trucks.

Our local dealer must order alot of aftermarket editions, mostly half tons. The other day I noticed an Evernham Motorsports edition ram with a killer interior(red & black leather). Also, 1500 Rams with hood stripes, body flares and awsome interiors. Must be a high profit margin for these trucks. Just never saw a heavy duty edition. The interior photo is exactly whats here in PA. I think these Texas Ranch trucks look like they belong to a cowboy, not a Pennsylvanian.
I don't understand where the $48K+ price tag comes from for leather, two-tone paint, and some badges.....oh it must be the numbered certificate of authenticity, as if someone would want to duplicate one of those trucks.
I'm a Dodge fan all around, but sometimes I hate their tactics for making more money. For instance, if they included a stock fuel pressure guage, would they be going through as many injection pumps?...probably not, because people would be warned before low fuel pressure ruined their expensive pumps.
I want an Alaska Edition with airbrushed pictures of oil drilling rigs in ANWR on it....that would **** some people off huh !...lol
