Thumbs up Talk about Customer Service

First let me say that I have no financial interest in this company nor will I gain any incentives from this post. I just thought that I should pass on this information to other members regarding, IMHO, an exceptional vendor regarding customer service.

Recently I was envolved in a project with my truck. During my installation, I accidently destroyed a component that prevented me from finishing my project and leaving my truck disabled. I called my vendor and told him my story. Now this was on a Thursday afternoon and I needed my truck back on the road ASAP. I asked if he could ship the part overnight and was told that the UPS driver had already left his shop. Hearing my disapointment,, and with out me asking,,, he said that if he was fast enough he might be able to catch the UPS driver further down on his route. Before I could respond, my vendor hung up and was on his way to intercept the UPS man. Needless to say, my part arrived the next day and the truck was back on the road that afternoon, just in time for a long trip that was planned months ago.

This type of customer service is exceptional in my book.

Who is this vendor who takes the extra step to support his clientele??????

Rip Rook of Source Automotive!

Thanks Rip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A real stupid and basic mistake!!!!!!!!!!!! I over tightened the brass O ring adapter on the VP44 for the FASS installation and broke the **** thing off in the IP. Luckly,,, I was able to back out the threads with an easy out!

I've worked on cars and trucks all my life and one thing you never, NEVER DO,,,, is lean on or force a brass fitting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just must be getting too old! They say the mind is the first thing to go. I think they're right!
