They look restrictive compared to the stock manifold, why would you want something that flows less than stock?

Actually it is less restrictive than stock, as the runners are all even length, and not collapsed in anyway like stock. I'm sure it isn't cheap either. Kinda wonder if it would support twins, too!

One of the guys on this site runs that and he saw a nice reduction in EGT's. I wish I could remember what his name was. I've seen them in person and they are incredibly nice looking.

That's a good looking piece and looks like it would flow better than stock. The boost numbers would likely drop but only because of the reduction the the exhaust side pressure the inlet pressure has to overcome. Exhaust velocity likely would take a hit but power would be up. Nice welds too.

The "why" would be lower EGTs which would allow more fuel in order to make more power. And he reports that it sounds very very good. There is a post over at the TDR on it in the new products section. I'm waiting to see how they will work with twins before deciding that I want one. There is normally a cracking issue with stainless but so far they aren't reporting any issues with this one.

That thing looks pretty sweet, kinda resembles the headers on my GTO!!! Looks lots better than that boring one we have now, wonder what the cost of that things is??

Something like that with the runners pointing sequentially to two parallel turbos might be a great choice for the towing crowd...with two small wastegated turbos. As long as the inner diameter of the runners is matched as well as the length and as long as it alternates the plumbing so there are no back to back pulses, this might be the way to do a set of small parallels.

I know several have said theres not enough air to drive two in parallel but they were splitting the manifold in half...I cannot see how that would work...you would have all sorts of surging when the exhaust hits the same turbo twice back to back.

Ok, I have said enough...back to my cave.

That looks like it will heat up the underhood temps. there is a lot more surface area to radiate heat. Kinda neat still
