Ya you can get them but you pay out the tail pipe for them. I went to Ebay bought a complete 4 " system turbo back for the price you have been quoted, and with the Can dollar doing so well it will be even better. Or you can buy my old stock system. Don't know where you are in Canada.

A 4" MBRP isn't much more than that. They're manufactured in Huntsville, Ont. The carlot where I bought my truck replaced the 3" tailpipe. The invoice says $149. Where are you at, I may be able to help you out too.

Hey Berner, I'm in Northern Ontario, how can I purchase a MBRP tailpipe ? I found a part # for a Walker tailpipe, will call around next week see if Carquest or Napa auto parts carry it. I'm pretty sure mine is 4" exhaust but I'm going to go check it right now..........

Well I thought it was 4" but it's a 3" . The pipe between the catalyc converter and muffler is 4" and the rest is 3". I'd like to put a 4" mbrp exhaust later on, but for now just need a tailpipe.

Walker doesn't make one for a 98, only 97 and back. The hangers are in the wrong place and its bent just a little different. Been there done that, I'm still looking for a 98 one too.

Do you remember the part # you had tried, the one I have is #36262 w/converter and comes with tip.

Really, your best bet is MBRP.......for about $500 CDN, you can have a complete 4" system and be done with it. You can buy factory direct from them....don't fuss with OEM exhaust.....as you can already tell, it just isn't worth it and depending on where you are in Northern On., Huntsville will be just around the corner so you could probably save on shipping too. I have dealt with MBRP on a few occasions and have been happy with them everytime.

Yeah, what CTD NUT said,

Just get a 4" and be done with it. I went with a 3" straight pipe - was a waste of my hard earned $$.
