stock head bolts

Well, i know studs is the way to go but times are a litle tough. What i want to know is how many of you have retorqued factory head bolts to 125 ft/lbs and still had failures and what PSI were you pushing. If you have not had any problems what kind of PSI are you getting away with. Thanks in advance

I've torqued bolts to 135, much beyond that they start to go. I would use new bolts if possible. You should use a good moly lube or high pressure grease to get a good torque, also helps to chase the threads and the clean holes of debris.
