Ok I have a question here that I could answer myself if I was back in the states, but I am in the Marine Corps and I am floating around on a boat with the Navy for the next 2 months. What I need to know is if the stereo size for my truck is a 1 & 1/2 Din or Double Din? I have looked around and can’t seem to find the answer so would some one please help me. If no one knows the measurements of the area will help also. Thanks for your time

 

i dont know what size it is but i put a pioneer in mine and it worked fine

 

It is 1.5 din. Most people use an install kit to use a regular 1 din radio.

 

The reason I was asking is because what I want to put in there is a two din stereo and I need close to 7 inches for it, but I don’t know how much room I would have to work with. Could someone give me the height measurement for the infinity stereo? Thanks guys

 

I can't help with the measurement but I am positive that a double din won't fit those usually come in foriegn vehicles toyota, honda etc....

 

It is 1.5 din. pioneer and clarion both make 1.5 din sized head units that will fit these dashes just fine. Reasonably priced, and good overall service life on either one. good luck with it

 

a double din can go in you just have to modify the dash alittle i was told they could make it look factory for about 250.00
