Info starting about halfway down the page on making a passive starter kill switch.

I think its well wirth the effort to install at least 1 antitheft device. It would really suck to have your CTD stolen. Good info.

You could always mount a couple of .22 caliber rim fires under the drivers seat, hooked to a small electric actived hammer, on a trip switch. You would have to remember to reset the switch 'each-and-every-time you start the truck . I could see the front page now: "Man gets 4 bullet wound in the rump while trying to steal truck, owner was inside the store." Or at the police line up, COP-"Number 3, drop your drawers, turn around, and grab your ankles." OWNER- " Yes sir, that is him, you see the wounds forming a square, that is him."

I have one on my truck. Theifs tried to steal it. Ripped the steering column off, couldn't start it and left.

Sucks to have your truck broken into and vandalized. But way better than it gone and maybe not getting it back.

Angry Good timing

Couldn't come at a better time. Thank you.
I had my truck stolen 2 weeks ago. Just got it back. Not much damage, but these things are sure easy to steal. Just a blade screw driver and a reverse hammer is all it takes.
I'll be installing one of these soon.
