im more of a sleeper kinds guy i keep things some what hidden if i had stack all it would do is draw attention from every joe who wants to race.and it gets annoying after long trips listening to the same super loud exhaust. even with my 5 inch and twin turbos this truck is still super loud. people can here me from miles away and it really makes those ford look really weak when they have all the show stuff and they cant even keep up with a "outdated dodge"

Stacks

I had 5 inch exhaust with a muffler and strait piped. My stacks actually have less in cab noise than the 5 inch system.

Get them. You won't go back to underside exhaust.

I also have them, they get a little loud after a five hour road trip... But when you get within 5 km of someones house and they can here you coming, no better feeling!

I have A stack I love the look and sound it added IMO BUT it gets really annoying going down the highway in the "drone zone" for extended amounts of time. I am thinking about either extending it up 2"-4" or adding a resonator... Even then I wouldn't trade it for anything!

ya they do look cool but the drone zone is annoying they are quiter when way above the cab. but around were i live every joe shmo in a honda wants to race. and every truck i see i want to race, especially a ford, and they are every were. but i used to have a single stack at about 4 inches above the bed line. i didnt want a flashy one so i heated the chrome up and dipped it in oil so it gave it a dark chrome look.. it looked cool off the line when you started spooling the turbos the smoke would pour out of it and the guy next to you would gulp and his eyes get big. man a stack was alot of fun.

I'm getting ready to get a muffler for my 5" system. The whole time I drive, I'm thinking, I'm glad I didn't get stacks. First time I've heard that stacks are actually quieter inside than a 5". I think stacks are cool but I don't want to put them on because I'm not always in the mood to "be cool."

I made these for a friend and you cant hear them when you close the windows. It sounds like a Pete. I had to mount them like this becous they look cool and he pulled a huge moving trailer and had alread hit the headack rack. P.S. I made it 5" all the way and they smoke almost perfectly the same, less than a 1/4 second faster on the driver side but then even smoke after that.
