can i stack a adreline with a edge ez? iam getting a 01 six speed tomorrow and i was wondering what i could do with the edge ez it has on it, thanks.

 

ez is timing and duration on 2nd gens, adding the tst fuel box would be a nice combo.

 

I second getting a tst pm3 or comp, plenty of used ones on the classifieds here usually about $500

 

okay thanks, do all those boxes require tapping the pump? if i could i would like to avoid tapping the pump, but if it is really needed for some more power and mileage i will think about it.

 

Tap it, go ahead do it. It don't hurt, you'll love it.

Without tapping the pump wire you wont get any more power from boxes then you have. You could also stack a smarty with it.

 

Without tapping the pump you can make just over 500 hp with the right injectors,turbo(s), and your ez box. People like the adjustability of boxes though. 01 six speed is a HO truck so expect better than advertised gains for injectors and less than advertised hp gains for fueling boxes. Instead of the box get some mach 2's and start saving for a clutch! Check the fuel pressure first, stock sucks.

 

I agree...I had DD4's and hot rod vp44 in my 24v, but I was never worried about egt's becasue I could just turn the comp down to its lowest setting which gave it just a little bit of timing and my mpg were awesome.

Then I could turn the comp up for more power when the truck was empty
