Stacking ??
Stacking ??
I see where some of you guys say you stack a box on top of your existing box. What exactly are you doing here? If I understand it rite your running two boxes but I don't understand how this works. How do they work together to get the same result?
I stack ez on top of a TST PM3...gives me timing from EZ and fueling from adjustable PM3. Lots of info on this topic...do a search for "stacking " should turn up lots of info.
PM3 plugs into engine MAP...EZ plugs into PM3 and Data Port. Works well with no negative side effects.

Thank You rjohnson,
I didn't think about doing a search for it because I really didn't know what to look for. I have seen it mentioned in a couple of post but didn't recall seeing a lot of discussion about it.
After doing a search and reading all the info previously discussed concerning the stacking issue in other post, I still have a question about it. I saw absolutely no mention of anyone doing any fuel delivery mods such as a FASS system or a pusher pump etc.
Do you not have to change anything before you stack boxes to make sure you are getting ample fuel supply or is the stock system good enough?

There are timing and duration as well as timing and pressure boxe's combined you get more power. A pressure pump like I run the bd lift pump kit will provide you with plenty of fuel for stacking
With a fuel pressure gauge, you will know when you need a different fueling system. The stock lift pump and factory fuel lines will probably get you to 375-400 HP. I ran with bigger lines and larger Banjos up to 450 HP before adding a FASS because I could pull Fuel Pressure down to under 5 psi at full throttle.
You will probably run into the need for bigger air supply (turbo) before you need better fuel delivery.

...on a side note....we were able to knock out our VP44 at 32,000 mi with a Drag Comp (and yes, it was on our own dime...they saw the tampered wire!!!!)......no doubt in my mind that is what caused it. Installed a FASS and 180HP injectors....no probs since! At WOT, 16-17 PSI all day long! This was one of the first FASS Units that was set for the 150 GPM. The newer ones you have a choice between the 90 GPM or the 150 GPM. AND lets not forget about the Baby FASS. But that is all on another thread..........
Running out of air wont really tare anything up, but running out of fuel pressure will.........
