smarty vs. edge ez

98.5 auto, bosch 300's, bigger nongated turbo, afe. take the money issue out of the equation...which one would you go with? pros and cons of each.
what are the hp/ft. lbs. that the smarty delivers? ill be buying one within a week...just need some input from people who have experience with em...not a sales rep!

ok...let's see here... both of them put out 65hp on the top end of them...the smarty is very, very adjustable. the EZ has 3 power level setn's....the smarty would be my pic if i wasn't going to do anything else with the truck box wise...due to the $$...i would just go with some bigger sticks...

i love the EZ/TST PM3 stack i have on my truck..

the EZ is just a plug and forget it box...the smarty u can load it on yours and still pull codes from your friends trucks...u can get the high idle too...

if you do go with the smarty...and get a fuel'n box or something like the ADR u can turn the timeing off on the smarty and just use it for low end fueling...

over all...i would just go with a EZ and stack it with a fueling box....since i can go to advance and pull codes if i need too...and the high idle...i have a stick cut to length...

as usual...IMO

the EZ is usually a first box for most people. then you get bit by the BOMB bug.
I would say get the Smarty and have your cake and eat it too. You can go from mild to wild with the same box and further down the road it's a great stack with the Comp or other box's. I might be going back to that stack soon if i can't get the surging problem fixed with the Adrenaline.

When u add injectors you need some type of fueling or timing box.

what meant was that i would save the extra money from not get'n the smarty and put it towards a set of sticks....

sticks?? i am not sure what you are talking about? the problem i am having now, is i just hooked up my buddys smarty yesterday and i do like the power. BUT, with the new turbo i just put on, i was expecting the lag to severely go away. it did not. still very laggy. with my stock turbo hx35 and just injectors, my lag was not nearly as bad. i was told with a timing box the lag would go away (most of it anyway). i think i am going to try and go back to an hx35w. my new turbo is a hx35/40 no gate.....if they wont take it back, which im sure they wont, youll see it for sale on here. i cant believe how much lag i have now. i guess my truck is not beefy enough for this turbo!
