smarty update problem

smarty update problem
i am really tired of jacking with my smarty... i am trying to update it and did all the recommended downloads. through the program when i get the file and hit send it says. ERROR FTD2XX.DLL WASNT FOUND. i dont know what to do. i really need some help now.
