Smarty Installed!!!!!!!

I installed my Smarty this morning and it works great I'm using the Edge drag comp for timing and the power button for fuel along with the Smarty and everything seems to be working great!! One question if I use the Smarty for the timing end of things, can I double tap the I.P using both the Edge and power button to fuel but not time, or will this be counterproductive or even kill my I.P? Just looking to get the most out of what I have.

Don't double tap the vp44. Is the power button fueling harder than the drag comp? I would try running the drag with smarty & take the PB off.

I'd bet on the Drag Comp fueling harder. I would take the PB of and run just the Edge. I would also at least try running the smarty for timing and PB for fuel. You've got them, why not try?

In the case of the Comp, if you were to put a volt meter on the fuel wire that gets tapped, you see battery positive here. The comp in the higher levels is going to begin to ground that wire to put the pump into more fuel. I don't think you want more than one module connected to the fuel wire.

Well I'm willing to bet you can find people who recommend each possible combo so what you've got to do is experiment and see which stack best complements your driving style. Or rent a dyno and do some tuning. There are people who make more power with a drag comp than any combination of stacks, but results vary depending on how the truck is modded. I run a smarty with a fueling box and its fun to drive
