Smarty on 2nd Gen.

Would it be worth it to get the Smarty for my truck?

Since you already have the Superchips....I'd say you should get a fuel system & gauges before adding more power. After that....Smarty is great!

Well I'm not really pleased with the superchips, and thinking about selling it.

Three words: T S T!

I have a smarty and love what it does for me, but I can't understand why people recommend replacing a 60 hp box or programmer with another 60 hp box when a fueling box or sticks would complement the existing setup and make more overall power! *rant mode off*

I agree with J Lent that guages and a fuel system should be your next step for reliability before trying to get more power

Sell your Potato Chips tuner and get a real box, Quad, Edge, TST. Or get some bigger injectors to compliment your weak box.

First things first. As mentioned you need guages. The stock LP would probably be fine with just the smarty, but you're playing with fire. The Smarty isn't about all out power, it's about driveability. It makes a huge differance in daily driving. If you want more power after that you'll need some upgrades. Like tranny and fuel system.

The smarty sounds good for me because I drive my truck 20 miles to school and then back everyday. Need something good for driveability. Also I am in the process of saving for a new Tranny.
