Silent Armor?
Anyone running the Goodyear silent armor?
I heard they are supposed to be great. I'm looking at both the D and E range.
ANY and ALL opinions welcomed!
I have BFG AT's right now, but they are rapidly turning into slicks

I've got the 265-75-16 E's, cant say I love em but so far cant say I dont like them either. Had to have two of my first set repalced after 2k miles, appeared to be wearing ALOT and funny. Took it in and found 3/32's wear. Discount tire stepped up and replaced them under warrenty. New tires have not had that problem. One thing I do like is THEY ARE QUIET compared to the REVO's I had, however, the REVO's were removed with ~70K on them, hard to complain about that. Also, you have to keep them aired up a little or they feel squishy, seems that most AT tires have soft sidewalls. Because of this, my next set might be more of a highway tire, not sure yet.
Good luck on spending your money .... LOL

Silent armor have a layer of kevlar over the 2 belts which adds in durability. I work as a tire builder for goodyear in tyler texas so i see what goes in a tire.
We in the buisiness call it "spiral overlay". They are very good tires, though, I do not know how they compare with competetors.
