silencer ring question

ok i know what it is and i just took it off my truck like 10 mins ago, is taking it off all for the sound or will it do anything for performance?

all for noise, just make sure you dont get shavings in the turbo when taking it out, mine was a pain.

i just got a flathead and grabed te ring with my hand and pulled the lock ring out then the other

Cool

you can also just take a screwdriver and a hammer and punch a hole in it if dont ever intend on using it agin but the only reason i did that was cause i got frustrated and did it not highly recomended thoght
