silencer ring???
dont mean to sound dumb, but what and where is it? what does it do, will it heart anything if its missing? does it make the exhaust louder or more turbo noise, if so how the hell do i get it OFF?

The ring is in the turbo housing, take off the intake tube you will see a small "funnell" looking cylinder held in by a brass snap ring, easy to remove, louder turbo wistle, dosnt hurt anything

a flat head screwdriver and nettle-nose plyers....... but on my old 12 valve that had 250,000 miles on it i had to but some heat on it

sweet i didnt know that i think i am gonna do that tomorrow! so does it make the turbo even louder?? cause mine whistles faily loud for stock i beleive!

it makes it much louder, also if you have a cool air intake it add some whistle
