See my post above. I installed mine @200k mi and its still going good. I was hesitant in doing it myself but was extremely careful in every, bolt, nut, and check ball removal.

 

I have built several 47 and 48RE's and used a couple different vb kits. Transgo is the most "user friendly" kit I've used. If you have some extra cash, I recommend installing a billet intermediate servo, accumulator, band strut, band anchor, 3-4 accumulator spring and the upgraded governor solenoid while your in there. A deep pan is always a plus as well. Just my $.02
