securing under rail box

so i bought me a new box, but not quite sure how to bolt it down. i have a buddy who just drilled right down through the bottom...but when it rains he tends to get water inside. ive also thought about drilling through the back of the box and the front of the bed and going that route. that solves the water issue but id just hate for the box to flex and start pulling the bed metal in odd directions.

suggestions?

i did use sheet metal screws and screwed it to the floor. never had water problems. now i have so much stuff in it that it must weight 250 lbs. so i just let the weight hold it there. it does not move. if i want to move it, i just empty it, take it out, and presto, full bed space!!

If water is coming in around the bolt holes, take some silicone caulk and cover the bolt head and the surrounding area. this will keep the water out.
