I don't think third gen seat have the belts in the seat. Do you have a quad cab?

Might want to check out catskin seats. I tried contacting them but zero response...maybe you'll have better luck.

I have a friend with a 3rd gen...went on a few hour drive with him last weekend and I was squirming the last 2 hours because of how uncomfortable the seats were. He said he hated them too. Then again, everybody's **** is different. I prefer my 2nd gen seats.

I drive a 3rd gen at work. In my opinion the 2nd gen seats are better. As for your question, I don't think you can swap seats without some modifications.(seatbelt issue aside)

my main problem in my seat is the lumbar support lower back kills me even after driving for around hour. Only rode in a 3rd gen dodge for short period time.

Because of the built in seat belts, swapping (if possible) would be difficult. I would try an upholstry shop and see what they could do for your current seats.

it will be hard with the seat belt issue, I own both a 2nd gen and 3gen, the 2nd gen deff fits me better.

I hate the third gen seats, way worse than my second gens.
Drove 11+ straight hours at times with no sore back or anything. minus the legs crampin up a bit lol.

I thought about putting 98-02 seats in my 94, but I'm on the fence. I like the fact that I can swap seat bottoms between the two seats in the 98-02's. But then again, it might cost just as much to buy those seats as it would to get my 94 seats re-bolstered, and re-upholstered to my liking.
