;D

Just not sure I can handle the loudness of the turbo all the time. I've heard of some people cutting the hole, but leaving the insulation folded over. Looks like I'll be getting a Scotty lll when they come out. Is that 20-40044 HUGE or does it just look bigger than the filters the other intakes are using?

I can already hear it.....that giant sucking sound, it's got nothning to do with NAFTA, it's that big honkin intake.

Re:Scotty Air III -vrs- BD X-treme Air
The pics of the Scotty II are a little misleading in comparison to the Ram Air III. We decided not to go to cowl location to gather air this time around, so you won't need to drill any holes at all. Its just a simple bolt-on.

The 40044 is one of the larger surfaces in use right now, but we couldn't fit it on the 03, so we had to switch to a filter thats 2 inches shorter. The slightly smaller filter doesn't appear to affect airflow though...

Rod

The scotty Intake is made by none other then scotty! You can find him in his fortress of solitude at wildcatdiesel! Give Rod a call he can fill you in on the scotty! Watch it though he might try to talk you into buying a blue sheep!

I dont know Jamie, these sheep ranchers have a special relationship with their sheep. I dont think Rod would be able to give up one of the heram.

Hopefully you package them in DTT tranny parts along with a 2 stage nitrous set up and maybe an oringed and ported head in the box that would be some real nice packaging!
Re:Scotty Air III -vrs- BD X-treme Air
Oh yeah, its all in there and then some.....the ported head was almost past the FED-EX maximum of 150lbs, so I just ported it some more to lighten it up ;D

Don~
