has any one tried a scotty 3 on a second gen can it be made to fit? because if it will work the dtr store claims to have scotty3's in stock still.

 

For the third gen intakes I have looked at they are completely different

 

They are a different animal. The porting is specific for the cold air venting and grill of the 3rd genner without any taper for the cowl. On third gen trucks, there isn't the ability for cowl induction like the SAII. The filter is also about 2" shorter than the SAII.
