There are several choices of gauges...just make sure you get a fuel pressure gauge...It seems Quadzilla is the only manufacturer not forgetting the 2nd Gen trucks,,,you can't go wrong with their products and their customer service is second to none! Unfortunately anything more powerful than an XZT+ will KO yer tranny...

got a fuel pressure gauge and EGT FIRST! look for QUAD XZT+ EDGE EZ but I think is a better choice upgrade the fuel system before any add on
you have a MBRP(more air out) you need more air in, so an intake will breath up you cummins, many good intake AFE(higher price) and S&B my first choice

Get the gauges!! Also for best mileage get some Mach 1.6 injectors. If you cannot afford them get the 275 injectors.

For sure get a Boost,EGT, and fuel pressure gauge. If you can get a tranny temp gauge. That is all you will ever need.

I had one and it was nice for the tire recalibrate. But i got bit by the diesel bug and sold the superchips and bought a wire tap box like the Edge Drag Comp. It all depends on what you need?

Then get the superchips for now. You would like it. And check around first before buying a new one. you can get a used one for 250 or less.

throw a s&b intake on there. (best for the price) then reposition the lift pump or add another to the frame wether it be a fass or holly or whatever you want. then do guages and a poere adder of some sort. superchips is ok but not that great. It won't give you very much

No the boost elbow doesn't work with the HY, you need a J-hook or something similar for the HY.

You need a fuel pressure gauge because the injection pump(VP44) and the stock lift pump on the 24v trucks are known for failure, especially when performance parts are added. A fuel pressure gauge is a MUST have for any VP44 powered truck.

I have a s-chip right now programmed on my truck. It does run like crazy and has power but I'm ditching the program and installing the xzt+(adjustable). With all of the different dloads avail thru Quad, I hope it will be a good choice, because there's no going back once it's reflashed. Yes, make sure you have a fuel pressure gauge and EGT.
