Rear Drum Upgrade

I saw on "Trucks!" this weekend a segment about upgrading the rear of our drum brake axles with a GM cylinder to increase pressure in the rear.

Anyone know about this or done it?

There's several threads on here about it. Do a search and you'll find plenty of info with part #'s and everything. Got mine sitting in the garage waiting to be put in...

Did mine too

kinda scary in the snow when empty, great in summer though. Very nice when loaded.

mines been done since last yr (many miles ago) and too bad yours is a 98 couse if it was 00 or newer you could instal the 03 and up larger front rotors
