Questions after 3k gov spring install
Hey Guys,
I installed the 3k gov springs a while back and have a question about my engines behavior before it has reached "operating temp".
When I let off the go pedal to shift, the RPMS fall abruptly and catch at idle rpm with a noticeable burst in fuel. The burst I refer to isn't enough to increase the RPM's, but you can definitely hear it. I don't remember it being so aggressive sounding before the upgrade. It does this from when I start the truck up until it is almost to operating temp.
When the truck is warmed up, the RPM gently falls to idle like it's supposed to.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Mine does the exact same thing. The Rpm drops sharp when cold and its bursts as it drops below idle speed. When really cold it lopes a bit, but I think its a function of the GSK and injectors over compensating.
