Quadzilla VS Edge EZ

What is everyones thoughts between the Edge EZ Adjustable and the Quadzilla set up? Looking to find something adjustable so i can run stock normally and modified as needed cheap. I have gages in place already and need performance as cheap as I can. Where is the best place to get either of these from?

I have an edge comp and love it. You can select the power you want in the cab, and its perfect for future modification. I would look on the classified page or check out ebay.

Just installed the Quadzilla Xzilleraider on a friends truck. Wow is all I have to say. Very impressive box. Fuels really hard. He has mach 1.6's (90 HP injectors) and we are putting in the HTT Street Stock 62 turbo next week.

The edge EZ is plug and play, no pump tapping right? What about the Quadzilla equivalent?

The XZT Quadzilla box is just like the EZ, but cheaper in price. No wire tapping. The Xzilleraider that I am talking about in the above post is about the same as the Edge Comp. I just installed a XZT in a 05 Common rail the other day and I was very impressed.

Thanks for bringing this back up with the follow-up I think I am going to give the quadzilla a try. I talked to them the other day and they seem very knowledgable and easy to work with

x2 had the Xzillaraider on my '03... plug and play, in cab control is great... I got the milder box so zero code or performance issues. Only problem I had was a RI problem which the fellas at Quadzilla were prompt to help me resolve giving them a +1 on customer service.

Well, I bought the Quadzilla XZT 60hp towing chip. Hopefully I will be able to find some time to install it by the end of the week.

I would highly suggest you replace that intank unit and get a better fuel system first, like a FASS or Walbro. I have the intank unit and the pressure isnt worth a penny i put towards the pump. Right now I am saving up to buy a FASS system, I was thinking of the Walbro, but the guy that does my work would rather see a FASS in there so I gotta do what he says . Get some guages to, you will see what I mean about the pressure once you get the gagues. At very best, I get 6 psi at idle with that junk intank pump. Thats not enough pressure for a box.

What he said. The wire taping boxes demand more fuel than the in-tank can keep up with. Research your options on fuel systems. If you go with either a Walbro or FASS, you can't go wrong. As for the Xzilleraider, it is an awesome box that fuels really hard. My friend is happy with his so far.

I got the Quad XZT installed today. It really wakes up the truck. What's the max boost you are able to get out of these boxes? I'm seeing 21lbs. Do I need a boost elbow/fooler to see more?

You need an adjustable boost elbow. Seeing that you have a 5 speed, you have an HX35. You just remove the elbow that is there and put in the new elbow. These elbows lets the wastegate open later and you should see somewhere around 30 PSI.
