Need some help!!!
I just picked up a new 98.5 with an Airdog100,quadzilla Adrenaline,and aftermarket VP pump. I have always had a juice w/attitude and am new to the adrenaline. So here lies the problem. Anytime when I turn the chip up past setting 2 so 3 and on, it kicks a code. The code is 1693 and 0253 I know that the 1693 is a companion code but the other is an open injection circuit. I have checked the pump tap wire I even soldiered it.. I know that the adrenaline starts pulling from the vp on level 3 and above. The truck runs great stock 1, and 2.
Any help is much appreciated??

 

Double check to make sure all batt connections are clean and tight including the Adr connection at the batt and in the fuse panel. Possibly try loading another tune. Quad updated the tunes on their website as of 1/6/11.

 

Thanks I redid all wiring last night through out truck with the good shrink connectors I will try a new tune

 

Quick question. When I load a tune/ update adrenaline do i plug into the actual box or the port on the monitor my computer will not recognize the box have not tried the monitor yet, just realized it had a mini usb port today???? Thanks for the help guys!!!

 

You update the Adrenaline only for the different tunes. But you should also check the Pulse to make sure it has the latest updates on it too.
Follow the instructions on the Quad site and it should work.
