Did you buy it new or used? Does it have the latest flash? If so, you must have something wired wrong, unless you have more bombs than what's in your sig. Most surging issues only occur on trucks with high HP these days.

Make sure you have a good connection for the wire tap and that you have the right wire tapped. Just a place to start. If you are not getting anything past level one you have some other issue.

ok i figured it out, sorta. The custom tune option doesnt work, the factory tune in the adr box works, and you can change it from 4 lvls up so you can kinda adjust it better. But i still have no idea why the custom tune, water temp, and the downloadable updates wont work

If there is no custom tuning available, you have older software. You need to update the Pulse and Adrenaline both seperately to the new files. Make sure you get the correct files for 98-02.

This link is for the Pulse only.....you must have the microsoft .net framework( found here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en ) installed prior to updating. I always disconnect the pulse from the Adrenaline before updating. Start the update and connect the Pulse when it tells you to.

These links are for the Adrenaline updates. I also unplug the Adrenaline module from the truck when updating. If you havent already, read the Quad .pdf instructions before updating.

I have that same problem with all my computers running an AMD chip. Thankfully I have one system with an Intel chip, and everything works just fine. Wonder if that might be part of the issue?

I have read about a dozen or so threads about Quad's problems with their products... some have been horror stories, and some have not been too terribly ugly. I am glad that I didn't buy one of their modules because of these stories... I'd rather keep things simple with the electronics: plug n play... no tapping pump wires for me.

I think that you may have hit on something. When I first bought my adrenaline it took up to 4 computers before one would install the update file.
