pyrometer circut box,,,where????!!

pyrometer circut box,,,where????!!

installing a isspro pyrometer,, wonder where the best place is to locate that big ole circut box thing!!! any ideas would help at this time! thanks guys,,

Well, I'm going to be replacing the TST boost and VDO trans and pyro on mine with newly delivered Isspro EVAs.

I'm going to look at the area behind the little shelf above the glove box.
That would be close to both the exhaust manifold (in engine comp) and the lower dash position (under radio) where I have my 3-gauge pod.

You may want to do something different though, if using the more common a-pillar mount. Seems like I remember some room behind the left AC vent from when I was replacing my headlight switch...

no point in trying to get to technical with the amp. roll up the extra wire, wiretie it to the main harness then wiretie the amp to the framework under the dash someplace. it's just a box.

Mines on the vertical dash support on either side of the steering column when you remove the lower dash bolster. I have the pyro box on one side and the trans temp box on the other. Tuck them up high on the support and screw them down.

I did a little crawling under mine today, and am favoring the support bracket for the big wiring harness plug. Right there by a couple of grommets you can send the leads through.

yea,, justr found a place down be the wiring harness,, wire tie and screw,, worked great,, thanks for all the info
