I have water/meth and really like it part of the reason we bought it was to keep temps down while towing and it works great. It is electronically controlled to automatically come on when EGT's get high so you can leave it activated all of the time. With your almost stock truck you probably don't need the water/meth to keep the EGT's down, but it does give about 50Hp when running.

Where you guys put the tank for this and do you go through it pretty quick? This might be the ticket for a little extra EGT help when climbing the passes. Willy91 where did you get your setup? I like how it auto dispenses

Most see 150 - 300 degree drop in EGT's, and will give you a decent kick in power, dpending on your setup.

I use the windshield washer bottle; holds a gallon, but it's not big enough if primary use is for towing on long trips. Ran out going from Denver to Grand Jct. at 9000 lb GVW.... not towing.
Only other option I know of is a tank in the truck bed. Snows has an 8 gal set up.

My pump mounted nicely under plate at far left front fender, in front of plastic wheel well shield.

When towing or hauling heavy, I get at least 200* reduction in EGT's on long climbs, and 25 to 45 hp on the dyno, depending on the type & % mixture. Love my Stage 2 Snow's system....Stage 3 is suppose to be even better??

I know there is a steel auxiliary tank that an aftermarket company has... only problem it displaces your spare tire...

Why don't they make a spare tire/aux tank combo

You could run the water meth in the aux tank...

This probably keeps your chamber and piston dome nice and clean too...?

Water meth will give you the best towing results, propane is good for 40 rwhp ( when used safely ) and 1-2 mpg but it wont lower egt's like h2o/meth witch is good for a 200* reduction. For towing and or high boost conditions don't mix more than 30% meth to water.

I installed a 15 gal cell in my tool box with a filter before the pump, It last for about 800-1500 km's towing 5000 lbs through the Canadian rockies.

Good Luck.

Propane and water/meth at the same time works fine, propane is not a cyrogenic fuel. Nos when injected cools well below zero which may cause some problems with water/meth, but one must keep in mind that 30% meth to water is is good to -35C before icing occurs.

Thanks a lot guys, I'm thinkin this is going to have to go on the truck 200 deg is perfect and a kick in the HP is always welcome at that altitude. Probably have to make an aluminum tank to put in the tool box
