I have the edge ez on my girl friends truck and i just learned the other day that you could adjust the levels on that. I bought the truck with the ez on it and have not screwed with is cuz i don't have to drive it every day. I am just wondering how you go about changing the levels and what each level does. My 2nd question is about the Smarty I have the edge comp right now and love it. I have been hearing alot about the smarty and have been thinking about trying it out. Just wondering what the benefits of the smarty are.

Take a look at Edge's site for the owners manual instructions and jumper settings. But basically, there is a little jumper in the end of the module that can be moved to adjust how aggressively the module fuels off the bottom. This is effected by several factors, but the most notable being the boost level associated with fueling increases.

The Smarty can be stacked with your Edge box, but you need to decide what you are trying to get out of it before adding a programmer. If it's more power, then skip that as a mod. It'll actually cut peak power. It will give more bottom end throttle response and will have the ability to smoke more on the bottom if that's what you are after. It will allow for the reading of codes, a cold weather high idle enable, speedo correction and a few different fuel curves to meet your driving needs.

Fill in your signature line so we can see what your driving or talking about. Also, it helps to give your goals so that a good recommendation can be made. It's easy to say to get it cause you'll love it. But it may not be the best thing for your application based on your description.
