I am planning on getting them soon.
What led bulbs did you use up front? The ones I got for the tailights were almost too deep and I think they would be too deep for the front.

Honestly Dan it has been too long. They are towers with around 27-30 leds per bulb. I just researched the ones on fleaBay then impulsively bought some figuring what the heck if they don't work out well they aren't that expensive. I just wanted to be sure they had the most LEDs and didn't only face in one direction.

I had some hid's put in about a year ago and I love them. The one on the driver side went out last night( brights still worked tho?) so since I was in town on a bar night I went ahead and put one of the factory bulbs back in so I don't get pulled over and get one of those $125 tickets for no head light. Man the side by side comparison of the two was like night and day,

Sea Drive,

Great info. Thanks for the update. I plan on getting some HID's very soon. I'm looking at purchasing the HID kit with the sport head light fixture.

I'm checking eBay. Is the Bi-Xeon much better than the reg. Xeon setups? What suggestions or tips do you or others have? Thx

I did some research and found that Bi-Xenon means that these bulbs have low AND high beams. If they aren't bi-xenon, they are only low beam. I've noticed even many OEM lamps have HID for the low beam and a plain old halogen bulb for the high beam. That seems completely pointless to me.

I love my Hid's, I used BI-xenons and have a h3 bulb for high beam. The high beam use was strictly for getting an inspection sticker. I also replaced my fogs with hid's. I do keep the silverstars in the glove box just in case.

Snow7899,

What headlight housings are you using?

I contacted SeaDrive a while back about his and he recommended an ebay seller by the name of "flashplus". One of the guys on a car forum I'm on ordered several sets from this guy:

Edit

He had good results with all of them and my wife is ordering them for me tonight (late Christmas present). The thing that is making me order them from the one I linked to and not the one that SeaDrive suggested is that the one I linked to ships out of Maryland and if you have a defective part you can return it to him in Maryland.

After looking at several pages of feedback on flashplus it appears that he may or may not ship from the US depending on his available stock and if you have a defective part you have to ship the item back to China. That was enough to turn me off to buying from him. I'll post a thread once my set up is in and give a little feedback on how it works.

John

Bi-xenon means single bulb that moves up for high beams. The others either are low beam only, or use a halogen for high beams. The choice is yours, but trust me, I never use my high beams any more. They are that bright!

You are correct ATC. When I had a trouble initially I had to wait quite a bit for the replacement parts, but that seller did what they said and in the end had pretty good customer service. At the time I believe I chose them on their choice of bulb colors and price and read some feed back as well.

Someone else asked how much I paid, I think it was around $150, they are cheaper now though.

Still going strong a year and half later. I don't regret it one bit.

I can't image a bulb that bright, I have just silverstars in my dually and people are still flashing their lights at me with low beams on.

Sea Drive - I orderd updated sgl. bulb HID light housing with the low beam HID ballast but found out after I ordered them from eBay that no sets are in stock and are now on back order.

I did purchase the Sport dual bulb 2-pcs headlight housings with the SUV Lights wiring/relay harness using 9004 and 9007 Phillips Crystal Vision Extreme 4000 bulbs.

The headlight R&R was pretty easy. I used 1/4" ratchet with a 10mm reg. socket and u-joint adapter w/ext. and a long thin screw driver. The wire harness installed easily also.

I've got the Sport headlights installed along with the Brite Box I had prev. installed on the truck. My low beams and high beams both come on at the same time. I'm checking constantly on extra heat in the housing. I'll re-set the aiming of the lights this weekend.

Really cool and bright. No HID's for me... No need !!! My current setup is awesome.

Mine are on their way. I'm guessing that they'll be here from Maryland around Wednesday as long as they went out Friday. I'll post my impression of them once they are in.
