Problems with Walbor 392
while driving down the road today I noticed my pressure was dropping from 16 to zero, by the time I got of the road. During idling it came back then trying to pull out it dropped back to zero. the pre strainer is clean, filter has 1000 mile on it. the pressure did return to normal for the 2 mile ride home and I parked it . I'm going to look at the wire connections first, then maybe drop the tank to see if the filter in the tank is clogging, I guess then change the pump. It only has 10-12000 mile on it. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks stock659

check your regulator.
They tend to hang up if they get ANY crud in them.
I have found that the piston in the return regulator has some flash left from when the bypass holes were drilled. this can pop loose and create havoc.
I cleaned mine up, stretched the spring til I got 22psi, and its been happy for a couple years. Prior to that, I was constantly tearing into the system to figure out why the pressure drops were occurring.
