Problems with Industrial Injection
I've had a similiar problem with II. Will never shop with them again. Like Pickupman,a longback and forth story. End result... was lied to and could never get a call back when they said they would. Try someone else!!

Well after II put in a turbo to big for what i was doing with my truck (sps62/14) instead of a 62/14.. i run hot ALL the time now if i'm hooked up to either my boat (26' Scarab w/454, or my 30ft fifth wheel) i'm not to happy with them either, i ran it last summer and then got recalled to come play in the big sand box, i will be looking for a different setup once i get home. I called the day i was installing it with a question about the oil drain line..and all i got was.. everyone is gone to a show, try back on Monday..this was a thursday!!! So honestly, i can not recommend them to anyone.. pretty disapointed in them!

Wow Im happy I am not the only one with the exact same type of problem. They should know word travels real fast, especially on these forums and they have to know all of there customer are on them. Not very smart on there part
Well, I had a problem with an Industrial Injection Turbo. It took a little more patience than I had planned, but in the finish up, Brett made things right.
So while no business is perfect, my experience has been good. I had a 62/14 that was a slow boosting lag pig that wouldn't make over 30 psig. No matter how much fuel you hit it with.
Ind Inject sent me a new one, and it works just fine.
Happy Customer here!

I have made three large purchases from II. I live close to them and have subsequently been to their facility. IMHO they are understaffed. Not only are they doing performance stuff, but industrial stuff, turbos, injection pumps, fuels stuff, transmissions, etc. Two of the three experiences were negative and the one that was not was a simple purchase of a Smarty.
Not returning calls is absolutely unacceptable! The lying is unacceptable! I would be really angry too if I had the same experience shipping a turbo in for repair.
As far as fighting these guys when a turbo fails I cannot respond cause I have not had one fail on my truck. I mean look, these things (turbos) are not rocket science. You bolt the turbo on, prelube it and go. If it fails they need to stand by them. I have dealt with HTT and II and really can't say much good about either. It is and imperect world. These companies are not going to get everyone set up perfectly the first time. They need to return calls, quit lying, and back their product. That way they could weather the storm until they get their customers into the right turbo, back that turbo once it is on the truck and keep guys coming back to them.

Well here an update. After sitting on hold for more than an hour I talked to someone and he said that they didnt even look at it yet. So I told him they better look at it or I was going to bash them even more than i already have. They then said the would take a look and let me know in about a hour. 6 hours later still no call so I call back and they say its apart and "either there is water in the oil or something internal in the motor let go". Then he said that they wont be able to warranty it and it wont be able to ship until tomorrow, even though they promised it would be out today. So I asked if they would help with part of the overnight shipping because it is about 300 and I already paid that once and they did nothing with it for 3 days and he told me nope I should call UPS and ask for cash back even though tracking said they received it on time. So now just a rebuild is going to cost me 1100. I am so sick of this company. I have realized they stand in front of there project like a blind man in front of his brake job. I will urge anyone to stay far away. You will have better luck asking a homeless man in a van down by the river to build you a turbo. At least you know he will be there when you need him. This is such BULL!!!!
I would ask them to send you the old bearings and shaft back with it. I would want proof. Either it is water in the oil or something let go is kinda a far reaching statement. send me whatever you found inside the turbo to make you say something came apart. Or send me the oil you got out of it. I don't know that it would help but you could file a complaint with the BBB.
This is pretty disappointing to hear. I hope II does right by you and if they can't make you completely satisfied, at least arrive at a situation that's mutually disagreeable
