Poweredge
Hi,
I have a Poweredge controler that was removed from a used Dodge pickup. The truck was sold and I have no information on year. The control has three LEDs on the front and an on/off switch. It has the following numbers on the back, 99SDT.2 and 141175. The cable has a six prong male plug with a red, brown, green, blue, white and black wire. The blue wire has a 100 uF capacitor installed next to the plug. Does anyone have information on this device? I would like to find the cable for it or a wiring diagram. I called Poweredge but they were no help at all, because it is a discontinued device. Has anyone in this forum used one of these, were the early ones like this worth using or is it just junk? Any help would be appreciated. Mike |
What year truck are you putting this on? I have that same style of box on my 01. If you have a fax# I can send you a copy of my instructions (I don't have a scanner so I can't e-mail). If not I can post wire codes tomorrow when I get a chance to look at the connections.

MLR1,
Thanks for the reply. We have a lot of dodge trucks go through here and I just need to know what year the power edge is for. You may FAX me at 405-624-0114. I assume the STD on the controller means standard trans. |
I didn't get a chance to look at mine today. I will be working on the truck tomorrow and I will post then. I will fax a copy of the instructions on Monday when I go back to work. I am not sure on the part # year thing. I will also look at that as well.

The chip is for a 99, the STD is for standard program if it says HOT it has the upgrade program. My MAP sensor plug configuration is different than the 99, but I will fax that info as well. I will also send a plug detail and with that you should be able to figure it out. Look for the fax in the AM.
