Pillar mount for comp?

I was wondering if there are any aftermarket pillar mounts, dash mounts, or overhead mounts for the Comp? Has anyone found a good place for it? I'm getting tired of the velcro.

The mods will probably move this thread to the performance section for more exposure at which point you will be bombarded (I mean that in a good way! ) with severeral options, locations and tricks for mounting the Comp. I chose the rediculously simple route and just stuck it discretely under my brake controller....not very imaginative, I know....but it does beat the velcro method!

I'm using the Edge Comp mount from ADT. It uses two screws from the under dash panel to hold it up and the Comp just slips right in. It was part of the deal when I bought my Comp used. Works pretty well and makes the Comp easy to get to next to my right knee.

i have my comp mounted just to the left of where ctd nut has his on that steep part fo the dash with velcro and works fine. my brake controller is on the lower left so it frees up my right hand for downshifting....

Being a non smoker, I had no need for the ash tray. So I cut it up so the comp fits in there. Nice and discreet, and no one is the wiser. I'm putting a pic up in my gallery, so you can see it after its been approved.

Mine is in the exact same place as CTD Nut's. Brake controler and all.

I would not put mine in the ashtray since that is where I store my change.

That's where mine went. I much prefer it there than anywhere else. I've had it on the dash, on the top of the steering column, under the steering column, and on the kick panel.

I've seen Comps mounted in the dash bezel just above the heater controls. Makes for a neat looking installation if it's done right.
