just a lingering question i have...
i am running with no plate or afc, and it takes a lot of throttle control at all times, but i love it that way, the only issue i have is getting rpm's...
the question, does stopping the rack travel with a plate, afc, ect. while pushing throttle past that point, do anything different than stopping it at that point with the throttle???

simple enough, thanks tate
i ordered a new gsk just about an hour ago, hopefully that will solve my issue, i started with a 3k which was awsome, then got the upgrade to converte the 3k to a 4k, and have nothing but problems, i have tried the stock settings, i have run them tight, loose and everywhere inbetween, with no luck, just wants to fall on its face around 3k and wont free rev past 3500, so hopefully an actual 4k kit will solve my issue,

Short question: Does it smoke when it falls on it's face?
If yes- you have too little air in the combustion chamber, but more than enough fuel.
If no- look at the pump. It might well be that you don't have enough fuel pressure to fill the pump at the high revs. (Overflow valve, lift pump), or your governor limits the amount of fuel (change gsk)
Timing is another issue.
I think you should check the points I mentioned first, because when you change stuff at the governor springs but have no effect at high revs it points towards the problem residing somewhere else.

well i'm still going to hope its missmatched gsk, i have a fuel pressure gauge, and has plenty of pressure, air is no issue, i got plenty there too, and its not over fueling because it will do the same thing if i just roll into it slowly, messing with the spring adjustment did change some littile things but the overall result was still about the same
